Why DJs Are So Important!

Updated: Feb 20, 2022

Mr. Country Wedding Journal often says..."I'd rather have a dj at the wedding than food." That's saying a lot! He really loves food! Why does he say this? It's because a GOOD dj is so integral in creating an environment that you want, and need, for a memorable ceremony and reception.

A good dj always:

  1. Communicates well ahead of time with the client.

  2. Listens to the client's needs.

  3. Gives professional input regarding the client's style, song choices, and wedding needs.

  4. Helps the client personalize the ceremony and reception.

  5. Works well with client, coordinator, and other vendors.

  6. Follows the day of schedule, yet remains flexible throughout.

  7. Creates a fun, entertaining environment

  8. Get's guests involved- keeping them there longer.

  9. Promotes and creates memories that will last for years to come!

Shout out to Chris Hale (Dance Party Productions)! He is the perfect example of all of these things! Happy national DJ Day!
